DO LESS!

Remove one more step from your list of chores. Stop bagging your leaves and grass clippings. Your throwing away money!

Natural, Free Garden Mulch:

Rake up your leaves in the fall and spread them onto your garden and flower beds. This will help protect them over the winter. In spring they can be raked off the bed and shredded to privide a thinner mulch for summer that will break down and release nutrients into the soil and retain water during the hot summer. Also this layer helps prevent weeds from growing. You can also mulch the leaves in a mulch pile.

Organic Lawn Care Guide

Instead of throwing away your old sticks and yard waste you can make a brush pile that will provide living space for a variety of native wildlife. As they decompose the soil underneath is fortified and can be used as an excellent soil amendment.
